What can I do if my grout is falling apart?
The majority of cracks in grout are minimal and can be repaired with color matched caulk. In some cases grout replacement is best. Heavily cracked and brittle portions of grout can be carefully removed by hand with a blade, or tool and vacuumed out making ay for new, waterproof, color matched grout.
How often should I seal the tile/grout in my shower?
Grout clean and seal is recommended every 2-4 years. GCS offers a complimentary 3 year call back service to take away the pressure of remembering to maintain tile and countertop areas.
Can you remove a stain in my kitchen floor grout?
Yes, we clean and restore stained grout. Due to the porous nature of grout, some stains may be deeper than others. Depending on the nature of the stain, a number of methods may be required. Restoration of heavily stained grout may include cleaning agents, steam, heavy scrubbing, or all out removal and replacement.
Can you fix where shower glass meets tile?
Yes. In most cases a careful removal of old seals with a blade and other tools can restore a clean renewed look where tile and shower glass meet.
